| During the ceremony, the Minister of Justice, Ms. Ayelet Shaked, said: "I am happy to be here today. The Tel Aviv Stock Exchange is the natural place for any Israeli company to trade and we need to make a joint effort to attract additional companies to list in Tel Aviv. This exchange is a reflection of the Israeli economy which is robust and thriving, therefore we should reinforce and celebrate this economy with a strong stock exchange. At the Ministry of Justice, together with the Deputy Attorney General, Avi Licht, we are leading a deliberate effort to provide regulatory relief to encourage additional dual-listings following the listing of SodaStream today. It is a great accomplishment to the State of Israel that an Israeli company, such as SodaStream, which employs more than 2,000 employees in Israel, will be listed on the Exchange. SodaStream is a source of great pride to us all and an inspiring symbol of coexistence."
Daniel Birnbaum, CEO of SodaStream said: "In the last year, we have sold more than 50 million products in 45 countries around the world, and each time someone buys one of these products, we are so proud to be planting a little Israeli flag in that home -- whether in Tokyo, Paris, Sydney or New York. We have chosen to set up our flagship factory in the Negev, with an investment of nearly $70 million, and we employ 2,000 people in Israel from diverse backgrounds, representing the rich tapestry of the Israeli society. Therefore, it is only natural that we list our company for trading also on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange. I am delighted that beginning today we are trading also at home and hope that other Israeli companies will follow in our footsteps.”
