In its last meeting (March 3, 2016), the board of directors of the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange (TASE) approved the launch of equity options on Mylan, which are included in the TA-25 Index. Trading in Mylan equity options will begin on March 23, 2013, with the introduction of the third and final group of new equity options on constituents of the TA-25 Index. This group will include equity options on Paz Oil Company, Gazit Globe, Melisron, Strauss Group, Osem Investments and Ormat Technologies. Mylan stocks were first listed on TASE on November 4, 2015 and were added to the TA-25 Index on December 15, 2015.

As previously reported, five new equity options were introduced in late February (Opko, Frutarom, Elbit Systems, Azrieli Group and Delek Drilling LP), one month after the launch of five other new options (the First International Bank, Nice Systems, Delek Group, Isramco Negev 2 LP and the Israel Corporation). Following the launch of the final options group, option trading will be available for the first time for all of TA-25 Index constituents.

Equity option trading was introduced in TASE in 2009 and presently consists of nineteen listed equity options. The decision to launch the new options aims to expand the variety of listed options on TASE. Options on all TA-25 Index constituents will facilitate the execution of new investment strategies.
