Overseas Commerce Takes Part in Opening Bell Ceremony at TASE

​Overseas Commerce management participated in the Opening Bell Ceremony at TASE on the occasion of the company's TASE listing on 18 December.

Ishay Davidi, CEO of FIMI Opportunity Funds congratulated the company, saying: "FIMI has numerous years of experience with public companies on the Israeli stock exchange.  We view this stock issue as an important move by the company and believe that the company's potential will justify its investors' confidence in it.  We feel a heavy sense of responsibility in turning Overseas into a public company and are certain that the company's management and employees will work determinedly to fulfill its goals."

Hani Shitrit Bach, TASE Senior Vice President, Head of Listing & Economics Department: "Overseas is the third stock company to have joined TASE this year.  The group engages in providing logistical services, from port to shelf.  Now, the company's controlling shareholders have completed an offer for sale of approximately 46% of company shares in exchange for approximately NIS 182 million, based on a company worth of NIS 401 million.
In the institutional stage of the offer for sale, Overseas shares were in high demand, to tune of NIS 355 million, some two and a half times the supply.
Company shares will begin to be traded on the Fast Track of the TA-MidCap on January 8, 2017.
The FIMI Opportunity Funds sees the great advantages of turning mature companies into publically traded companies and thus increasing their value.  The Fund currently has holdings in 12 companies traded on TASE.
