Uri Shavit joins TASE management as Senior Vice President, CIO and Head of Information Technology & Operations Department

​The Board of Directors of the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange (TASE) approved (Feb. 9, 17) the appointment of Uri Shavit as Senior VP, CIO and Head of Information Technology & Operations Department.

In his most recent position, Uri Shavit has served as project manager for the merger of Arab Israel Bank into Bank Leumi.  In the performance of this role, he handled all matters relating to information systems and working processes, including all aspects of banking activity, regulation and accounting.
Previously, Shavit served for 8 years as CEO of Leumi Capital Market Services, a company specializing in the provision of back office services in capital market domains.  In this capacity, he supervised the operation of provident funds, mutual funds, hedge funds and pension counseling services.  As CEO, Shavit managed 150 employees.

Mr. Shavit holds a bachelor's degree in Economics and Political Science and master's degree in Public Administration from the Tel Aviv University and graduated Chief Information Officer's course at the Technion (Israel Institute of Technology).  He is married + 3.
