Trading on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange (TASE) in the first week of December was marked by a mixed trend.
 
 
                                      
TA-25
The TA-25 index decreased 0.1% over the week, bringing year-to-date increase to 13.2%.
 
 
TA-100
The TA-100 index decreased 0.4% over the week, bringing year-to-date returns to 10.9%.
 
 
TA-Biomed
The TA-Biomed index stood out and increased 1.8% over the week and bringing returns since the beginning of 2012 to 15.5%.
 
Government Bonds
The Government of Israel floated US $370 million bonds on the local market this past week, bringing the year-to-date total of government bond issues to US $20.5 billion.
 
Corporate Bonds
The business sector raised US$ 370 million in bond offerings this week and US$ 9.4 billion since the beginning of the year. "PAZ OIL" stood out, raising US $160 million.
Foreign Investors
Figures released by the Bank of Israel indicate that foreign residents purchased on October a net US $470 million of Government Bonds and sold T-Bills (MAKAM) and shares of US $150 million and US $40 million respectively.
