Trading on the Tel-Aviv Stock Exchange (TASE) during the last week of January ended with declines in most leading TASE's indices .
 
 
                                      
TA-25
The TA-25 index decreased 1.6% over the week, bringing decrease since the beginning of January to 0.7%.
 
TA-100
The TA-100 index decreased 1.6% over the week, bringing decrease since the beginning of January to 0.2%.
 
 
TA-Biomed
The TA-Biomed index stood out, increasing 2% over the week, bringing increase since the beginning of January to 6.2%, after gaining a 9.9% in 2012.
 
 
Government Bonds - Tel-Aviv
The Government of Israel floated US $0.3 billion bonds on the local market this past week bringing the January total of government bond issues to US $1.5 billion.

The Government of Israel raised US $2.0 billion in a bond offering in the United States – half of which in dollar denominated bonds for 10.5 years and half in 30-year dollar-denominated bonds.
 
Corporate Bonds
2013 opened with an active primary private sector debt market, culminating in a total of US $1.6 billion corporate debt raised in January.
 
BOI Interest Rates
The Bank of Israel left the interest rate for February, 2013 unchanged at 1.75% per annum.
