Press Release
13/11/2016

This morning (13.11.16), the Global Entrepreneurship Network participated in the Opening Bell Ceremony, celebrating the opening of the "Global Entrepreneurship Week", held in 160 countries across the world.

Ela Matalon – Chairperson and Executive Director of MIT Enterprise Forum, Said: "We’re gathered here at the TASE, at the heart of Tel Aviv, one of the greatest hubs of innovation and entrepreneurship in the world. We are here to celebrate our ability to discover and learn, to question and imagine, to build and create new ways to connect and work with each other.

Entrepreneurship is the ability to turn an idea into reality -- a new venture, a small business -- to create jobs and get on a path of growth. It empowers people to get together and tackle pressing challenges, from climate change to health and poverty".

Hani Shitrit-Bach, Senior Vice President, Head of Listing and Economics Department of TASE, congratulated at the event and said " Marking Global Entrepreneurship Week upon the opening of trading on TASE has become a tradition.  I hope that the entrepreneurs that joined us today will grow and succeed so we will see you in the coming future here at the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange, growing and raising money with your companies and this way you will strengthen the Israel economy".
