Tel Aviv Stock Exchange Introduces Digital Gallery with Art Students of Sapir College TASE's Giant Video Wall will serve as the "Canvas" for the Display of Video Art Work

Studying the Value of Art: TASE and Sapir College to hold events on Money, Culture, and Art. 

​The Tel Aviv Stock Exchange's (TASE) Digital Gallery will feature "Reflections", a collection of video art by graduates of the School of Arts at Sapir College, which will be shown on the giant video wall in the building.
On the designed video screen outside there will be presented the Totem Poetry, an anthology of poetry and a series of lectures dealing with arts, culture and money, open to the public, will be held at the TASE from Friday December 18th.


The Tel Aviv Stock Exchange (TASE) and Sapir College are collaborating on a series of activities open to the public.
The Tel Aviv Stock Exchange (TASE), home to Israel's public companies, investors and saving public, will become Israel's "digital gallery" in collaboration with the School of Arts at Sapir College. The TASE's "trademark" giant video wall will serve as the "canvas" on which students' video art works will be displayed. The video exhibition called "Reflections". 

The TASE and Sapir College will also hold a series of four events open to the public on Friday mornings in the TASE's Conference Center, to discuss various aspects and relations between art, culture, and money such as: Art Collecting versus Strategies of Investing in the Arts; Art as part of Advertising and Propaganda; The myth of the starving artist – is it still true? And The Reciprocal Relationship between Art and Electronic media.

Reflections will show a video collection curated by Ariella Plotkin, incorporating works by students and graduates. The exhibition will extend into the Tel Aviv street outside the TASE building to include Totem Poetry, a presentation of digital poetry created by key contemporary well-known young poets working in Israel, curated by Meital Nadler.

This is the second exhibit held at DigitArt, TASE's Digital Gallery, which was inaugurated a few months ago. The giant video wall of the TASE, a famous icon, become a unique video art platform. The Digital Gallery is another pillar in the TASE’s efforts to bring the public closer to the world of finance.
